<title>Harley's Heroes Tour Arrives May 31</title>
  <link>http://EnchantedMountains.info/events/eventinfo2.asp?eventID=2022</link>
<description>VA Benefits Counseling Provided Free of Charge by Disabled American Veterans. Military veterans in Western New York can receive free counseling and assistance with their government benefits when the 2008 Harley&#39;s Heroes Tour comes to the Hollywood Happening. The 2008 Harley&#39;s Heroes Tour will include stops throughout the US including over 175 Harley-Davidson dealerships where benefits assistance will be offered to veterans of all ages in communities where they live. The mission of Harley&#39;s Heroes, made possible with the help of a $1 million grant from the Harley-Davidson Foundation to Disabled American Veterans (DAV), is to provide assistance in obtaining benefits from the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) for all veterans and to show appreciation for their service and sacrifice to our country. While on the 2008 tour, DAV National Service Officers will provide benefits counseling to those veterans who suffer from service-connected injuries but may never have filed a claim for benefits or for those who have found it difficult to work with the VA. The Harley&#39;s Heroes Tour is brought here locally by Gowanda Harley Davidson. "We&#39;re very proud to be able to offer this service to our local veterans, especially those returning from Iraq and Afghanistan who require our immediate attention and support," remarks John Reid, the dealership&#39;s president and Vietnam veteran.

  <link>http://EnchantedMountains.info/events/eventinfo2.asp?eventID=1957</link>
<description>The 2008 Bicentennial 14 day, 180 mile Stagecoach Run will be an educational living history celebration. The proposed route will include as many towns, villages and hamlets as possible in Cattaraugus County, to involve everyone in the communities as part of the adventure. The Stagecoach Run will travel about 3 miles an hour, stopping for a midday meal and camp at day&#39;s end. An educational presentation about wagons, horses and people of our heritage will be given each evening. A youth contest for children 18 years and younger will allow a lucky few children a chance to get a real feel for life as it was 200 years ago. Join the train for the entire 2 week ride, for a day or two or for an evening around the campfire when they set up at various locations around the county. For more information or to register your wagon, please call 716/938-6313.
